FLOWER5

Designer: Sarah Seth

Stuff:

- a pair of 4mm (diameter) knit needles.

- size G-6 (4mm) crochet hook.


Gauge:

- 30 st x 7 rows = 6” x 1 “ bracelet

- the flower is 40 - 45mm diameter. (depends on yarn size)


Step 1: Knit for the bracelet

- cast on 30 stitches

- rnd 1 until rnd 7 - knit

- cast off


Abbreviations:

Ch = chain

Sl st = slip stitch

Sc = single crochet

Dc = double crochet


Step 2: Crochet

Rnd 1 - start with magic ring OR make 4 chains. Make 10 sc. Join the 1st with the 10th ch.

Rnd 2 – * chain 3 from the 1st st and sl st on the 3rd ch. Repeat step * 4 times.

Rnd 3 *ch 2, dc 3 times, ch 2 then sl st (sl st above the same previous sl st in rnd 2). You’ve made 1 petal. Repeat step * 4 times.

Rnd 4 – 7 sc on each petal. Repeat 4 times. Fasten off.
